The Association on American Indian Affairs is a national non-profit. At our language program, we have focused on the Dakotah language, but always with a view towards how we can help all Native languages to survive.
We have always welcomed any Tribe, language group, or school to convert our materials from the Dakotah language to any Native American language. We ask two things, first that upon completion, two sets of the materials created be provided to AAIA. We plan to keep one set at our language program office and place the other set in our rather extensive archives at Princeton University so that it may be saved there for eternity. Secondly, we ask that if you can contribute, please do so. If you cannot, that’s okay too.
Please click on our contact us button to talk with us about getting the materials to you in files other than PDFs so that they can be easily converted. We created all of these materials in Microsoft Publisher which is readily available and which most people have.
